Hi Sean,
Try adding the element(s) you want to preserve the formatting for to the
Options->Preferences --- Editor/Format/Preserve space elements list. Some
alternatives are
- put the "sensible" content in a CDATA section.
- use xml:space="preserve" on that element(s) (Docbook does not support
xml:space although there is a RFE for some time so your document will became
invalid but well formedness will not be affected).
- use indent selection from the contextual menu (this does just indenting
of tags, no content wrapping).
