Framework

A framework refers to a package that contains resources and configuration information to provide ready-to-use support for a vocabulary or document type. A framework is associated to a document type according to a set of rules. It also includes a variety of settings that improve editing capabilities for its particular file type. Oxygen XML Author Eclipse plugin includes a Document Type Configuration Dialog Box that allows you to define the set of rules and customize various authoring mechanisms for new or existing frameworks.
