Cannot Log in to Oxygen Feedback in Chrome

Problem

I am having trouble logging in to the Oxygen Feedback application in Chrome.

Possible Cause

Oxygen Feedback uses HTTP cookies to authenticate client requests and maintain session information. The authentication issue could be caused by the browser (or a third-party extension or plugin) rejecting the JSESSIONID authentication cookie. This cookie is used to store the current user's Session ID on the client side (in the browser).

Possible Solutions

  • Open Chrome's DevTools, go to the Application tab, select the https://feedback.oxygenxml.xom entry in the left navigation pane, and check to make sure the JSESSIONID cookie is present.
  • Check your current cookies settings to make sure cookies are not blocked (chrome://settings/cookies).
  • If you have any Chrome extensions installed, it is possible for them to interfere with Feedback's authentication cookies. You could try opening the page in a Chrome Incognito Window and try to log in (by default, all Chrome extensions are disabled in the Incognito mode).
  • Try using a different browser (e.g. Firefox or MS Edge).
