00:00:04we're very excited to announce the

00:00:05release of oxygen XML Web author

00:00:0827 this video will present some

00:00:10highlights of new features that were

00:00:12added in this

00:00:13version you now have the ability to

00:00:16highlight document content using

00:00:17predefined colors there's a convenient

00:00:20drop- down button on the toolbar where

00:00:22you can choose a color and then you can

00:00:25use the mouse to highlight

00:00:27content this is especially helpful for

00:00:29reviewing large or sensitive documents

00:00:32such as a legal document as in our

00:00:34example you can use different colors

00:00:36according to your specific needs for

00:00:38example each reviewer could use a

00:00:40different color or each color could

00:00:42represent the urgency or type of review

00:00:44item Etc notice that you can see and

00:00:47remove highlights from the review

00:00:52pane the diff and merge tool now

00:00:54supports comparing non-xml

00:00:56files in our example we're comparing two

00:00:59version of a markdown

00:01:04file you can clearly see the differences

00:01:07in the side by-side comparison and you

00:01:09can merge the changes just like with XML

00:01:13files text mode file comparisons are now

00:01:16possible there's a toggle text mode

00:01:19button on the toolbar that can be used

00:01:20to switch to text mode at any time and

00:01:24if this message that no visual

00:01:25differences were detected is displayed

00:01:28you can click this show diff and text

00:01:30mode

00:01:31link this feature is helpful in cases

00:01:33where the visual comparison mode doesn't

00:01:35detect differences in things such as

00:01:37processing instructions indentations or

00:01:40white spaces as in our

00:01:43example a new feature is available for

00:01:45integrators to make dat maps editable in

00:01:48a specialized tree editor it has toolbar

00:01:51buttons for organizing and editing a map

00:01:54you can use copy paste actions or drag

00:01:57and drop to move references

00:02:00you can also add references organize and

00:02:02edit the map using various contextual

00:02:04menu actions like this one to edit

00:02:06profiling

00:02:11[Music]

00:02:12attributes and we'll click this toolbar

00:02:14button to show the profiling

00:02:17attributes numerous enhancements and new

00:02:19actions were implemented for the AI

00:02:21positron assistant plug-in one example

00:02:24is a new action to update content based

00:02:26on images it reads and analyzes imag

00:02:30referenced in the topic to identify

00:02:31missing information and proposes updates

00:02:34to the content accordingly we can

00:02:36preview the proposed changes and in our

00:02:39example you can see that the AI

00:02:41identified some things in the image that

00:02:43weren't mentioned in the topic and it

00:02:45proposed content to add the missing

00:02:49items some new actions were added to

00:02:52help review

00:02:55content we'll select some content in our

00:02:57sample and use the new proof reading

00:03:00action it will look for issues in the

00:03:02content regarding things such as

00:03:04consistency grammar and readability and

00:03:06then it will add comments with

00:03:08suggestions for fixing the issues we'll

00:03:10preview it and we'll hover over one of

00:03:13the comments and you can see that it is

00:03:15suggesting to change a phrase there's

00:03:18also a new review action to propose

00:03:20changes based on existing comments so

00:03:23we'll use this action on our previous

00:03:25example where the AI added comments

00:03:27while proofreading the content we'll

00:03:29preview the proposed

00:03:30changes and the AI proposed various

00:03:33changes to the document based on

00:03:35suggestions found in the existing

00:03:37comments and it also proposed removing

00:03:39the

00:03:41comments the new split topic action can

00:03:43be used to split large data topics into

00:03:46multiple smaller topics it can be found

00:03:49in the new intelligent agent category

00:03:51that contains actions designed to

00:03:52streamline data topic

00:03:54management this action analyzes the

00:03:57topic and if it's large and contains

00:03:58multiple subjects

00:04:00it proposes to split the topic into

00:04:02several topics based on modularity best

00:04:04practices after processing you can see

00:04:07that it condensed the original topic and

00:04:09added related links to the new topics it

00:04:13created also in the intelligent agents

00:04:16category the expand draft action

00:04:18enhances Aida topic by using information

00:04:21gathered from the document content while

00:04:23also learning from similar topics found

00:04:25in related links we'll preview the

00:04:28proposed changes and in our example it

00:04:31used some brief instructions from the

00:04:32original topic and proposed content and

00:04:35structure based on information it

00:04:36learned from the similar

00:04:39topic these were just a handful of

00:04:42examples of the new features and

00:04:43enhancements that were implemented in

00:04:45oxygen XML Web author 27 for a complete

00:04:49list of all the additions see our what's
